The Hirani’s for several years, enjoyed a beautiful home in USA. They wanted to translate the Dutch style architecture of USA living in their Mumbai residence. Their astute sense of interior design and easy-going approach, let UJDesigns create a simple yet beautiful home.
The colours palettes stuck strictly to the Dutch colonial style in USA with stark white walls and wardrobes, contrasted by charcoal grey doors, sombre blues and greens. The home opens up to a gorgeous living area with colonial style drawers and spacious seating areas, with white floors reminiscent of a US summer.
Each bedroom has been designed with tall white symmetrical wardrobes and storage spaces, with evenly spaced shuttered cabinets. While one bedroom has white contrasted with steel blue colours and chestnut coloured wooden floors; the other bedroom has a study space with symmetrical triangular patterns in olive green and dark ebony wooden veneer tiles.
The kitchen space too, follows a proportioned formal design style with white herringbone patterned tiles on the walls and Victorian tiles for the floor.
